Throughout this website “Apply-Assist”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Apliko Consulting OÜ.

What we are, and what we are not

Apply-Assist is a private administrative assistance service. We help individuals prepare and submit applications for civil certificates (marriage and civil partnership certificates) and for commemorative certificates to the relevant register office in the United Kingdom, acting as the customer’s authorised agent.

We are not a government agency and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the General Register Office (GRO), the General Register Office for Northern Ireland (GRONI), National Records of Scotland (NRS), any local register office or council, HM Passport Office, or any other government body.

The certificate itself is issued by the relevant government register office, which is the sole decision-maker on any application. We do not issue certificates, and we cannot guarantee the outcome or the processing time of any application.

You can also apply directly

The same certificates can be ordered directly from the official government services, and are usually cheaper that way, for example:

  • England & Wales: gov.uk (General Register Office)
  • Scotland: nrscotland.gov.uk / your local council registrar
  • Northern Ireland: nidirect.gov.uk (GRONI)

We charge a fee for our administrative assistance only. Using our service is entirely optional.

For information about how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy. Apliko Consulting OÜ is the data controller.
